Our carbon monoxide detector was going off in our home and we need to check if there was a leak. The first company we used “couldn’t tell” if there was a leak and just kept pushing us to replace the furnace. So we reached out to Meridian Mechanical and I’m so glad we did!! He gave me an honest assessment and a fair quote without trying to upsell like so many others in the business do. He was communicative and kept me in the loop through the whole process.

When my heater started making strange noises I called around and got a few different quotes. Everyone who came out gave me a different assessment, everyone agreed I needed a new blower fan in addition to a large array of parts. Each telling me something different. One company even tried to convince me I needed a whole new furnace, claiming when one part goes everything else follows. Needless to say I was overwhelmed and completely at a loss as to what to do and was looking at thousands of dollars in repairs or a cold winter ahead. I had a few people enthusiastically recommend Meridian and I'm so glad they did.

Dave came out and took a look at my furnace and told me that all I needed was the blower fan and the furnace itself should last me years to come. He has years of experience in the business and what I appreciate more than anything is that rather than trying to take advantage of my own lack of knowledge he gave me an honest and fair assessment. As a single parent on a single income I appreciated that he didn't try to sell me more than I actually needed.
